Children’s Ministry

 

 

Kidz 4 Him is designed especially for children aged Kindergarten —5th Grades.  Kidz 4 Him is a high energy, high impact worship program with a weekly drama designed from a child’s perspective . 

Each week we have a time of  sharing the Gospel and biblical teachings through a unique drama presentation.  The drama presentation is designed to help each child with his or her walk with God.  We discuss a core value each month that is designed to help children as they grow and mature into young adults. 

Kidz 4 Him is designed for children, but adults are always welcome!

Pre-School Prayze is a beginner’s choir for 3 Yr. Old - Kindergarten age children.

 

The children learn songs and  memory verses that help them develop their Biblical foundations.

 

The children have a wonderful time fellowshipping with other boys and girls while at the same time learning God’s principals through music and song.  

 

The children perform periodically throughout the year during the 10:30am and 6:30pm family    worship service.

The Children’s Ministry at Riverbend Baptist Church is a great place for your children to get involved and learn more about the love of God and the grace of Jesus Christ.  Below are a few of the fun activities we offer to our children:

 

 

 

 

AWANA is an intentional, non-denominational, Bible centered youth organization providing weekday clubs and programs for children ages 3—5th Grade.  The acrostic AWANA comes from II Timothy 2:15— ‘Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.’ 

 

The AWANA pledge says best what AWANA is all about: “I pledge allegiance to the AWANA flag, which stands for the AWANA Clubs, whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him.”

 

AWANA meets every Wednesday at 6:15 PM.

 

 

“Oh come let us sing to the Lord!  Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before His presence with Thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.  For the Lord is the great God and the great King above all gods.”  (Psalm 95: 1-3)

The children of Riverbend take Psalm 95: 1-3 seriously as they practice joyfully singing unto the Lord.

Twice a year during Christmas and late spring, the     children perform a musical they have prepared that shares the good news of Jesus Christ.

Bring your children to choir practice and let them learn at an early age to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” (Psalm 100)
