Sunday School

The Sunday School Ministry has been called “the Church organized.” It is more than an organization of the church. Sunday School allows our people to be organized into small groups and to become a thriving part of the infrastructure of our church, while building relationships and touching lives. Sunday School is one of the most important ministries in the life of our church. There are six ministry objectives associated with our Adult Sunday School:

  • To reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • To teach people the Word of God
  • To minister to people’s needs
  • To involve people in ministry
  • To assimilate people into the life of Riverbend Baptist Church
  • To build relationships with people

                                      Women's Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry exists for reaching, teaching and nurturing the women of our church and community so that each woman will come to faith, Christian maturity, and service through interaction with God, His Word, and one another. Our Bible Studies, programs, and special events are planned with your needs in mind. Your heart will be inspired, your life enriched, and your relationships strengthened; especially your relationship with the Lord.

                                      Men's Ministry

The mission of the Riverbend Baptist Church Men’s Ministry is to biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, church and places of business, and to develop them in Christian living using the most effective means to impact the world, making a positive difference in this generation and generations of the future. The ministry seeks to accomplish this through Sunday School, discipleship classes, mission projects, and special events.
