The Children’s Ministry at Riverbend Baptist Church exists to introduce K-6th Grade children to Jesus Christ and help them establish a firm foundation upon which their faith can grow. In an effort to reach this goal we have a number of different avenues designed with this end in mind:

      o  4:12 Ministries – A 5th and 6th Grade ministry designed to challenge the child in their faith in an environment that is comfortable, unique, and exciting. 4:12 Ministries builds on the foundation laid in the K-4th Grade ministry with an added emphasis on scripture memorization, missions, and personal evangelism.

       o  Kidz 4 Him - A worship service designed for children in Kindergarten – 4th Grades. Kidz 4 Him is a high energy, high impact worship program with a weekly drama designed from a child’s perspective centered on a Biblical theme.

       o  AWANA – An intentional Bible centered youth program for children ages three – 4th Grade. The AWANA ministry strives to challenge the children to memorize scripture as well as introduce them to the importance of being on mission with God.

       o  H.I.S. Choir – Our children’s choir is designed to lead the children in 1st – 6th grade to love praise and adoration of our great God. Twice a year, once during the Christmas season and once in the spring H.I.S Choir will perform a musical centered on the good news of Jesus Christ.

       o  Pre-School Prayze – Our Pre-School choir is designed for children three – Kindergarten. The children are taught songs and Bible verses that help reinforce the Sunday morning teaching. The Pre-School Prayze performs periodically throughout the year during both the morning and evening worship services.

     6:00 p.m. – H.I.S. Choir; Pre-School Prayze

Wednesday:
     6:15 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – AWANA; 4:12 Ministries
