Doulos Student Ministry

Doulos Student Ministries is calling all students from grades 7-12 to come be a part of the fresh and exciting student ministry at Riverbend Baptist Church.

“Doulos” is the Greek word for bond-servant or slave.

In a world where so many evil things try to enslave our students, Doulos Student Ministries invites students to become slaves to Christ and to righteousness so we can lead others to the freedom from sin which is found in Christ.

Here are some ways we invite students to become involved weekly:

SUNDAY MORNING SMALL GROUPS

9:00-10:15am

We offer small groups for each grade (7th –12th). Our small groups meet in a master-teach format and then break-up into age graded classes for discussion. Our lessons are Bible based and designed to help the students live their faith in the real world.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE

6:30-8:00pm

Wednesday Night Live is an exciting time of worship, teaching, and fellowship that all students enjoy. Come worship with us through music that is contemporary and relevant to student’s tastes and styles. Learn the truth from the Word of God through teaching, fun games, and activities designed to engage and stimulate students. Hangout and have fun with students your own age who are facing similar trials and difficulties. This proves to be a fun time every week you don’t want to miss!

In addition to these weekly activities, the Student Ministry hosts a number of yearly events including Disciple Now (March), Spring Break Mission Trip (India), Summer Camp (July), Fall Retreat (October), as well as many others.
