Ben Thornton is Pastor of Student Ministries at Riverbend Baptist Church.

Ben is married to his wife, Jessica.

Ben graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2000 with a BBA in Information Systems and Communications and in 2005 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity.

Before being led into the ministry at Riverbend in 2006, Ben worked at Hart Communications as an Internet Analyst and Server Manager and as a Commercial Electrician Apprentice at King Electric.

Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 91:1-2 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

Favorite Food: “Any kind of country cooking!”
