Chris Orr is the Minister of Music and Worship Ministries at Riverbend Baptist Church.

He is married to wife Marla and they have two children (Abigail and Whitley) and a bulldog named Rosie

Chris attended Gainesville College from 1996-99

In 1999, while still in college, God opened a door for Chris to begin doing ministry both locally and nationally sharing the gospel by leading worship from the platforms from both churches and organizations such as Student Life, Student Life for Kids, The North American Mission Board, Lifeway, Campus Crusade for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Baptist State Conventions in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio, Virginia, Oklahoma, Mississippi & New York. Although Chris still enjoys opportunities to minister in these capacities, the local church still remains Chris’s greatest passion. As of today, Chris’ favorite Bible verse is Romans 10:17; “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”
