Giving Thanks

One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him for what He had done. This man was a Samaritan. – Luke 17:15-16

How we receive a gift and respond to it is a test of our pride. Don’t let the voice of your pride keep you from giving thanks this week.

Loving our community

Thanks to everyone for helping this Saturday hand out food boxes to our local community. By partnering with other local churches, we were able to hand out over 120 Thanksgiving dinner boxes to those in one of our local apartment complexes.

Pray that these food boxes impact them and that they saw the light of Christ through our works. Everyone in our community, including YOU, matters. Let’s continue to help our communities find new life in Christ.

Holding the Ladder

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. – Ephesians 4:16

Jesus designed His church to be a “bigger picture” family. The church family restores what sin robbed from the biological family, and as a family, we hold each other’s ladders.
